MAGNIFICENTBLISS HAS TURNED INTO ONE BIG UPDATE every few months. i’m shocked that anyone actually visits {all 10 of you, google analytics doesn’t lie}. every day i try to work on my little site, ultimately pulled away by life – dare i say, almost always, something more interesting – like wren, an important phone call, a fun art project {perhaps involving bears + parachutes}, a workout, or a visit to the park. life is rushing by, if you haven’t already noticed, and i’m taking advantage of every moment.

despite being pulled in a million different directions, i hate leaving projects unattended or incomplete, so there’s catching up to do. i’ve been working on five months worth of ‘wren’ posts. who can’t get enough of wren?! i sure can’t. i know, i know, you’ve been waiting anxiously for this, haven’t you? actually this is more for my benefit since this is MY photo journal, but you’re welcome to enjoy it too. below is a list of all the new updates, even one dating back to december!

my small window of free time this afternoon is now coming to a close, so the rest of this post is going to be brief…updates for those wondering about the sanchezes: wren is now 14 months. i’m still working on the handful of posts about her. now that my taxes are completed, i can finally finish those updates. friday, i applied for the renegade craft fair in san francisco this summer. i’ll hear back this week if i was accepted into the show.  i’m so very optimistic, to a fault, we’ll see! i’ve been receiving a lot of inquiries about my little birthday bird, which makes me so happy since i love that little guy. i’m working on coordinating flat note cards, gift tags, and fill-in party invitations, PLUS a version of the little bird without a birthday hat. my sweet grandpa is going in for surgery on tuesday, and i must admit, i’m nervous for him and my grandma. prayers most appreciated. trying not to dwell or think negatively, but i love my grandpa so much.

well, now, on to finishing up on a big order, laundry, and dinner. multitasking at its finest.

CLEARLY, I’M IN A SEASON IN LIFE where i just can’t find the time for little things i used to have time for…catching dust bunnies…filing my nails…or paperwork since we’re on the topic…sketching happy ghosts…eating something other than string cheese and coffee…watching giada and ina in the afternoon and cooking one of their masterpieces…blogging. but i do have time for the important things…being a mom, and a wife, and present to friends and family. yes, important, indeed!

until then, i suppose fun little life updates will need to wait. perhaps until this weekend? for now,  a quick shop update {birthday bird stickers!}

has it really been a month since i last updated…and christmas is next week? oy! the past month has been a whirlwind. we visited family in iowa for thanksgiving and got our cold weather fix – yeah, the crazy sanchezes love cold weather. our trip did put us back a week in decorating for christmas, a task we take very, very seriously. so serious, that tommy has been in a slump because the christmas lights on the porch are not cooperating {time to buy new lights}. to lift his spirits a little gift was left for him.

misty: 18 years, magnificentbliss: 8. this site just might be around a little longer than misty though. it’s been rough year for her, hopefully not her last.

friends, magnificentbliss is back. the rest of the site is a work in progress, but at least this is a start.

really, i am working on updating this site — oh it’s so sad here right now, old words, broken links, deleted posts, much like walking into a dirty room and being annoyed with the mess you’ve made but not really having the time or care to do anything about it — uh, yuck.

“tsk, tsk, she’s let herself go”. at least that’s what you would think. oh, not true! just you wait.

a complete change in direction that’s so exciting and hard to contain. i don’t want to share anything just yet though. wait a little longer and you’ll see…
