IS IT STRANGE THAT I CRACK MYSELF UP? someone once told me that it’s weird to laugh at yourself. well, even if it is, i cannot help it. this is one of the funniest things i’ve done – at least i thought it was funny. back in june i started #giantcatsofsummer on instagram. it was a short series, just enough to amuse myself, yet not too much to overwhelm and annoy all my family and friends following me on instagram. now that summer is over, i’m saying goodbye to the giant cats. it’s so cheesy, but it made me laugh and wren enjoyed seeing pictures of herself next to giant cats.

I LOVE THE MORNINGS. especially cold mornings like today. huge cup of coffee, sun is warm through the windows, wren just went down for a nap. it’s quiet. i check my google analytics stats first thing – some people check the weather forecast, or email, or start their day with a morning constitutional – not me, just stats. what a weirdo. recently, traffic to magnificentbliss has frequently been coming in from this google search “most hated baby names wren”. sure enough if you google that, we come in third. nice! i get so excited finding little hidden treasures in my morning stat review.

has it really been a month since i last updated…and christmas is next week? oy! the past month has been a whirlwind. we visited family in iowa for thanksgiving and got our cold weather fix – yeah, the crazy sanchezes love cold weather. our trip did put us back a week in decorating for christmas, a task we take very, very seriously. so serious, that tommy has been in a slump because the christmas lights on the porch are not cooperating {time to buy new lights}. to lift his spirits a little gift was left for him.
