most people think they know me. ask any friend or family member about me and you'll get such responses as, 'oh, she's such a sweet girl', 'my goodness, she is so genuine and honest', or, 'i could absolutely trust her with my life.' the fact of the matter is that nobody should trust me, ever. except for here. i'm always 100% honest on this little site.
with that said, here are a few excruciatingly fun facts about me:
- unfortunately, i was born in venezuela.
- my family owned one of the largest dairy farms in the country, specializing in the production of slow cultured cottage cheese.
- i now live in the silicon valley. on hot summer evenings, the hills glisten with silicon. i bet you didn't know that.
- i'm a virtuoso on all woodwind instruments.
- i was once attacked by a swarm of horse flies, resulting in the corrosion of my taste buds. i lost the ability to smell and taste.
- i'm an awful cook, obviously.
- i met my husband on ebay. i was bidding on a pair of tortoise shell banana clips, he had the winning bid.
- i'm a natural blonde but prefer the obscurity of being a brunette.
- i have a speech impediment. my 'r's sound like 'wa's and my 'w's sound like 'huh's.
- that other site i always talk about, kristinsanchez.com - it's actually not my site. my name isn't even kristin.

in case you were wondering what happened to the pre-july'05 archives. well, they died. i'm sorry to break the news to you this way. after five long years
of bad writing and stupid jokes, they just simply gave up on life.
