scooter is one of pepe’s friends. i left off the gator tail. oops. it would be too difficult for scooter to move around with two tails anyway.

remember when i had a camera? that was fun. i would take pictures of the most random, mundane, often at the most inappropriate times…occasionally of tommy, usually of food. ahh, yes… food… recipes. those were the days. i promise you that i’m not despairing, but hopeful. working my fingers into nubs, saving for another camera.
i will return when i have a new camera, or maybe a borrowed camera. it might take a few months, but i will return.

i haven’t posted for what seems like years — on account of not having much to share lately — but i feel compelled to post about a friend who passed away recently. over the past few years, his art has encouraged and excited me to draw and paint again. the photos of his work hardly show the intricate and thoughtful detail that goes into each piece. in memory of troy davis, i’ve posted a few of my favorite pieces he created. to view more of his work, visit troy’s site
