july 26, 2005 - wish i could say it was mine
i saw this piece up when i went with wendy to san jose state earlier this year. i was so taken by the colors, the texture, and the chairs that defiance grabbed my hand and forced me to touch the paintings. repeatedly. fortunately, a guest book was waiting for us next to the painting. honestly, guest books at galleries are just an open invitation to act like an idiot. wendy wrote, 'it looks so good i could taste it'. i wrote, 'it looks so good, i could steal it'.
if anybody knows the artist, please pass the info along. i'd love to let him/her know that my sticky fingers fondled his/her chairs for a good five minutes.
